Royal Kuningan Hotel

The bellmen are very helpful in their knowledge of the city and the front desk staff try very hard to please the guests.

The room service staff are difficult to deal with. Also, the business center is a computer and a printer...that's it. For a 4 star, I expected more.

Rooms need better cleaning, and bit worn down and many surfaces where degrading. Tile in bathroom was loose or broken, spidersacks hanging from moulding. when you order superior room it says nothing about this beeing a connecting room.

Big clean rooms, hotel was lovely and the staff very friendly. Easy to get to everywhere in the city and great location just for ease.

Overall room is spacious and clean. The King size bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and they do change the menu daily. Overall it is quiet, but probably due to less occupancy.

Towel for shower could be improved. It was a bit smelly. TV channel does not go according to the channel list provided, and TV reception was bad, so hardly can enjoy watching TV. The door was a bit difficult to close shut and sometime requires a hard pull or push, ended up causing a loud bang.

The door to my room had abit of an issue. I had to try several times to open it everytime I went out.The toilet also had an issue with flashing

We were recommended to stay at Royal Kuningan because it is easily accessible to all the Government's offices. From the outside, the building looked old, but once you stepped inside, we were impressed by the interior. The grand staircase and the chandeliers are the best look of the hotel. We took the escalator to the Lobby which is on the 1st floor. The personnel during checking-in were very helpful. Checking it was fast.We booked a Double Deluxe Room. The room is spacious, with warm tones, and has a huge bed, a sofa, a coffee/tea facility, a safe box, the right number of hangers, bedroom sleepers and various channels for the TV that you can choose from. Inside the closet, there is a small door that is connected to the bathroom, it can fit a small person to pass by. I don't know what this is for. The bathroom is a little bit dated and so does the bath towels. No hand and face towels were provided. There wasn't a bathtub which is OK for me. The water that came out from the shower had a foul smell. I had to run the water for a while to let go of the smell first before taking a shower. The place to put soap and shampoo bottles was too small, so I had to put them on the shower floor.The breakfast selection was mainly 90% local Indonesian food. It would be nice to have some small packed cheese and yoghurt in a small tub that you can buy from the supermarket and a good selection of bread. The hotel doesn't provide money-changing services. In the room, you can find 3 international sockets, so you will be able to charge your phone or laptop if you have forgotten to bring an adapter. The lobby and the lounge don't use electrical sockets, which the hotel should consider to change it in future. There is a decent lounge on the ground floor that is perfect for meeting with clients and having some drinks and snacks. We didn't get the chance to try the swimming pool and the sauna, or touring the city due to our packed meeting schedule.

1) Have more selection of breakfasts.2) International sockets at lobby, lounger & breakfast area.3) Money-changing service for the guests.

Old Building, Needs an upgrade in all sense. Dressing Mirror ghosts someone because of stains. Smelly towels

Bed was very good for sleep

When we check out hotel,we other taxi blu bird ,he cheating,he took around around long way to the airport, took 3 hours from hotel royal kuningan to the airport and paid 30 dolars.Warning don`"t used blue birrd better used grab car.

Rooms are a good size and good shower.the restaurant was also fine . The hotel is close to Casablanca mall which hosts a few very good restaurants and Bars.

Well nothing , it was a bit too crowded days I was there since they hosts lots of events .

the properties are old. need to upgrade. example, the rug in the hallway.

a noise above my room was scarry and frequently. reported to reception twice the next day but said There is nothing! However, it happened again and again, as a rolling cylinder with massive sounds, even at midnight. When complained for again they agreed to change the room and declared tht above the room is like a store or tools room!! . In addition, a bad smell keep coming out ofvthe toilet

Good central location in Jakarta, near malls. Free parking. General layout of the hotel is good (saloons and bathrooms in marble, high ceilings, nice decorations) but really bad keept, everything has unclean rest of dirt or it is chipped, even at reception.

Hotel is really unkept, old and shabby carpet in the corridors, wall paper in the rooms dirty and with stains. Our room got humidity stains in the ceiling and as per other comments gutter smell in the bathroom, we asked for a change and they did it to a better one, still the new room not good maintained and cleanliness not as expected at a four star hotel. Breakfast and lunch food is nothing remarkable. Hotel could do really good with a proper maintenance and cleaning.

The size of the bathroom and that it's made of stone.

Employees barely speak English even at the reception. Basic items were not available in the room service menu for 1 week: no sparkling water, no coke zero, no calamari fri, no mushroom soup...It's impossible to regulate the temperature in the room, it was always cold even when you turn off the AC for a couple of days.The room looked extremely used - scratches and bad repairment signs.The towels were old, there were no small towels during the whole stay.The doors are old and without soundproof, in general, you hear everything happening out of the room.

The location is great

The dust in the room like everywhere,the fridge is not functional, the aircon is too noisy, the breakfast is so so.
